Doh, what an idiot I feel! I brought War Angels after reading how Mr 50 cent had enjoyed War Angel, so much he wrote a rap. Unfortunately, I purchased War Angels although kind of ok, I wouldn't rave about it. Anyway, I had whole rant about Mr 50 cent's comic choice, but I can't now as I brought the wrong comic!

Graphic Novels : Grifter Midnighter
I have a problem with this graphic novel for one reason and one reason alone. I want more! The Grifter and Midnighter's sociopathic behaviour makes them a fabulous team, either caring about the other useless it suits their personnel needs or cause plus the final joke on Midnighter and the beasts he is fight is giggle.
Graphic Novels : The Incredible Hulk, Boiling Point
This a great Hulk one-shot even without "previously" part at the beginning. The story centres around two other characters and Dr Banner just happens to be there. There being a little shop about to be robbed. The art is superb and the story typically Hulk, but to finish it perfectly for me, Banner needed to walk away to the music from the 80s TV series.

Graphic Novels : Preacher, Gone to Texas
Preacher is another fabulous example of Garth Ennis's work. Unrelenting, brash, violent and down right nasty. The story follows Reverend Jesse Custer, Tulip O'Hare his ex-girl friend and Cassidy a Irish vampire with a taste for the good stuff. It is described in the introduction by Joe R. Lansdale as "a psychopathic greased gerbil with a miner's hat and a flashlight and your bare asshole in sight." Well, after reading it a certainly felt greasy and abused! All nine volumes of the Preacher are currently being reprinted by Titan Books and they are definitely worth every penny.

Micro Men : Retro Goodness
Micro Men is a BBC Four drama based on the micro computer boom in the 1980s and as a child then I was absolutely engross. I actually owned a ZX Spectrum and totally love it, but its interesting to see that Chris Curry and Sir Clive Sinclair seemed to envy each others success with Sir Clive Sinclair trying to compete with the BBC Micro with the Sinclair QL and Chris Curry trying to match the games market around ZX Spectrum with the Acorn Electron.
Graphic Novels : The Authority, Prime
I have to admit to enjoying a proper good super hero bust up and Prime really does deliver with colourful characters, violent behaviour and mucky language, plus a fabulous reason or story why the fight.

Fallout 3 : The biggest fan of Fallout 3
This was a nice surprise after buying all five add-ons for Fallout 3, I received an email with a code so I could download a free Fallout 3 premium theme. Thanks Bethesda Softworks.
Graphic Novels : Justice Society of America, Thy Kingdom Come, Part Two
I was not wrong when I reviewed part one, this saga continues to get better especially with arrival of a god, or should I say Gog! What does Gog want? Is it really peace? However, my favourite moment was the interaction between "The Huntress" and "Power Girl". Huntress states she isn't in love with current boyfriend but another and at this point I thought she was going to say "I love you Power Girl", but actually she loves Dick, Dick Grayson that is. It made me laugh out loud.

Graphic Novels : The Roberts
This is a great graphic novel, it is a "what if", set on a very dark scale. Imagine if a couple of serial killers were not caught and live to a ripe old age then finally checked themselves in a retirement home. Imagine what could happen? One the best things for me was the research undertaken by writer Justin Shady, he actually contacted a number of real life serial killers and asked "what if" you were not caught. The letters are printed in this novel for your enjoyment.
