Mean, Avidemux

Avidemux is a simple video editing tool for a number of platforms. However, I have tested it on Ubuntu and I am impressed, it was incredibly quick to encode video clips and makes other so-called free products look stupid.

CDBurnerXP Pro

This a fantastic burning product, it does both CD and DVD. It can turn them into ISO files and back into discs. However, my favourite feature is the extraction of CD audio to MP3 and MP3 back to CD Audio, its just all drag and drop. Beautiful programming work and easy to use.

DVDShrink is an excellent DVD backup program, which utilises build-in decoders. The product also allows for compression and DVD remastering.
