Hancock : Isn't a comic book hero!

I have just watched Hancock and as a lover of the odd comic, Hancock is an example of how not to do a hero, anti or not!

Ok, he is super strong, can fly and is immortal, plus he is mystery, ie; his name is John Hancock, because a nurse called him it 80 years ago and he thought it was his name. So, he starts acting like a hero after some bad behaviour and some voluntary time in prison. Great stuff, then you want him to start investigating his origins, maybe a human lover and some mistakes along the way, but no, the movie completely throws you by say his friends wife is actually the same as Hancock, a 3,000 year old immortal! She is also Hancock's partner or even wife and they are maybe some kind of titans, or gods, but if they are close together they become mortal, huh? Why? This doesn't even make sense and to piss me off completely the movie ends with Hancock branding the moon with a heart! Come on!

Batman Begins : Spoiled

I watched Batman Begins as a warm up for The Dark Knight, but found only one element really anonying, "Katie Holmes", I kept thinking about "Dawson's Crack", I mean "Creek". She is so uninteresting, I can only hope she is blown to pieces in The Dark Knight.

The Incredible Hulk : 80s movie moment

I am a big fan of the Hulk and I really enjoyed the movie featuring Edward Norton and Liv Tyler and my favourite fan moment is when Edward Norton is walking back after being attack by General Ross's forces for the first time. The music comes up to show this sad moment of failure and its from the original TV series. Awesome, it made the hairs on my neck stand up!

The Dark Knight : Brandon Lee and Heath Ledger?

So, I was watching the "The Crow", a comic book adapted movie from 1994 and what struck me was how much Brandon Lee's character looked like the new Joker, Heath Ledger.

Brandon Lee(Left) and Heath Ledger(Right)

Ok, they look similar and they are both playing comic book characters, but then of course they both died in accidents. I kept digging and discovered they were both twenty eight and the time length between "The Crow" and "The Dark Knight" is fourteen years, when doubled that is twenty eight, freaky huh? Is it a comic book jinx like the Superman curse?
