Football : Anterior Cruciate Ligament Damage

I guess, I was right to worry about the future of my knee. I had my hospital appointment today and my consultant told me after listening and checking my knee, that he is almost 100% sure that I have damaged my Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL). I asked if he could fix me, he said he could probably repair the damage, unfortunately there is no 100% fix. Next stop an MRI of my knee to confirm the diagnoses.

Football : My knee injury

After my last knee injury, I visited my doctor, who has referred me for scans due to suspected cartilage damage. I can't say that I am very hopefully.

Football : The End

I think that my days playing football are finished. After a knee injury on the 28th September 2007, I was unable to play. On the 30th November 2007, I tried my knee out again and after ten minutes, I was lying on the floor unable to stand and just yesterday, I returned after exactly six months, I managed to play fifty minutes before turning sharply and down I went. Unfortunately, I think this is the end of my playing days.

Football : The Separatists and me

I know I haven't reported on "The Separatists" since 2nd July 2007, but I was unable to attend the first three matches of the season then I popped my knee. Three weeks of no exercise then light jogging for a further four weeks. So, I had my first non-competitive game last week and I popped my knee again. My own fault, I wasn't ready to return. So, back to light jogging and rest for a further eight or nine weeks!

However, there is news on "The Separatists", the team has sponsorship and has changed its name to "The Spice Enterprise". This is very good news for the coming seasons.

Good luck lads.

Football : The Separatists 0-0 Belle Vue

Last game of the season and we need a win not to finish bottom, but we fought hard and were unlucky not to win. Roll on the new season. All hail "The Separatists", even if we were last.

Football : St. Bedes Club 6-1 The Separatists

I have never been so proud of a 6-1 defend, we play some of our best football against top of the table and lost.

Our keeper is a God and our tactics were sound, but St. Bedes Club were just better.

Bring on Belle Vue in our final match of the season.

On the 25th June 2007, we are due to play top of the table "St. Bedes Club". It'll be a difficult task to come away with anything, but we are always confident.
