H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH, AntiVir

The Internet can be a dangerous place and viruses run wild. The best way to protect yourself from these electronic beasties, is with an AntiVirus(AV) product. AntiVir is just that, firstly, it is free for personnel use and secondly, it is updated regularly. It also passes the European Institute for Computer Anti-Virus Research(eicar) virus test pattern, which is a good thing. However, having an AV product on your computer doesn't guarantee 100% protection, because new viruses are created all the time.

Requirements:
Microsoft Windows XP

Fortech, Proxy+

The most complete and the fastest free proxy, I have used to date. I recommend this product totally. I have been using it on the free three user version for over a year and I can find no fault with this product. The proxy is driven as a service and accessed via a web interface, but note this product isn't for the beginner and you will need to learn it by reading the manual.

Requirements:
Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, 2003
