General : Lowest blogs ever!

What a weird month, snow in November, freezing temperatures and complete lack of weekly blogs. Sadly, I am struggling to get motived to blog. I guess, its the weather and the destruction of one of my computers by my two year old son! So, lets enjoy the test pattern.

Saved every Little Sister and spared Grace, Stanley and Gil. - 25G

Ok, so get the above achievement the developers want you not kill all the little sisters and some other characters within the game, if you do you lose the chance to get this achievement on the first playthrough thus there is no decision for the player, but to be good. Shame as I decided to kill everything this time and considering the quality of BioShock 2, I will probably not play it through again!

XBOX 360 : Sensible World of Soccer International Cup Victory Glitch!

Ok, so you are playing career mode quite happily. You finally get a top job and guide your team to victory in the International Cup (World Cup) then you play a couple of friendlies and try to start the next season. The game hangs, you try again and it hangs again! Guess what, there is bug and I think the general comment is nobody is going to fix it! My advice is don't win the International Cup, which is a Shame!

So, Xbox Live has launched a Facebook application and everyone I know seems to be on Facebook. I thought "What the hell! I'll join too", thus far I have discovered it almost like blogging, but with a captive audience, which is quite funny, considering the rubbish that is in my mind!

The Force Unleashed : Downloadable Content

So, I thought I would buy the two The Force Unleashed add-ons, Jedi Temple and Tatooine. Although a lot of fun, 800 Microsoft Points each is far too much for an hour or so each of extra play. 400 would have been better!

Left 4 Dead 2 : Boycott?

I have been reading on the 'net about gamers asking other gamers to boycott "Left 4 Dead 2" because Valve have decided not to expand the original "Left 4 Dead", well apart from a couple of DLCs for the XBOX 360 and PC. I only have one question for these gamers, why is it ok to let Activision, Infinity Ward and Treyarch produce a new version of Call of Duty every year and when Valve want to do the same thing, it is wrong?

Give Valve a break, don't boycott, but support the development of new games by giving Valve the same respect as other developers.

General : My Family Holiday 2009

So, me, myself and family have returned home early from a short break in Scotland. Where we visited and stayed in a tiny place called the Southerness, it a quite literally a few houses and a famous lighthouse built back in the 18th century, which has been effectively rebuilt a couple of times.

Battlefield 1943 : Best Xbox Live Arcade Game of 2009?

I certainly think Battlefield 1943 is worthy of this title. 1200MSP is bargain for the 14 hours that I have played!
