Back in 1985, I owned a game called "Back To Skool". It was a free roaming game around school antics including fighting with the school bully, writing messages on chalk boards, hitting teachers and doing all manner of naughty things. I don't remember any moral outrage nor did I have to be 15 to buy the game. Lastly, I certainly didn't do any of the things depicted within the game, because it was a game and not real!
In March 2008, Rockstar launched Bully Scholarship Edition, a port of the PlayStation 2 version. The media and some teaching professions call for its head, but why? It is only modern version of the 8-bit classic "Back To Skool" and you have to be 15 to purchase the product. Maybe my parents weren't aware of the content of the "Back To Skool", but they trusted be not to emulate it. It's sad that the media and some teaching professions have no faith in our children.
